Hi all! I thought it would be fun to show "In Progress" pictures of our own personal garden that we are growing this year. I'll talk about what we are doing, how the plants are growing and answer any questions you might have.

Getting the Ground Ready
 We started getting our garden are ready around Feb. 2. We had a lot of work cut out for us to get the soil ready as the only thing this are has grown is great sticker burrs! It is located in our horse pen and if you have horses, you know that they will eat the grass down to the dirt.

You can see how bad the area was before we started working on it! The soil needs all the help it can get.


We added about 40 bags of lime pellets to help the soil out and then tilled everything in to mix the soil and lime as well as to loosen the ground for planting.
